Staining the frames is the first stage of creating the finished furniture. For example, before and after:
Already before any fabric has been added the range of customisation options are vast. Shown below is a
few different finishes which show a broad spectrum of what can be achieved.
On the left we show a deep stained vanish for that richer look and appearance. On the right we have a
chair with a plain varnish.
It's not just staining that can be done. We can also do a laquered finish which can be flat or high
gloss.
For a more exotic look, other effects can be applied to the frames.
For example, you can have a 2 colour painted frame. As an example, shown below is a frame painted in peach and white.
Or you can have a more complex multi-colour effect. An example of this is Black Marble.
The frame can also be given a texture that can be seen and felt. One example of this is Craquele, shown below.
